Clay M. Gaspar

DIRECTOR

Mr. Gaspar was recently appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Devon Energy (NYSE: DVN) following Devon’s merger with WPX Energy (NYSE: WPX).  While at WPX Clay served as Chief Operating Officer and on the WPX Board of Directors. Clay was instrumental in his role at WPX, implementing widespread change associated with a $7 billion portfolio transformation that made WPX an emergent, nibble leader in natural resource development and a part of the United States’ dramatic shift to energy independence, ultimately leading to the Devon/WPX merger.

Previously, Clay served as Vice President for Newfield Exploration Company, and prior, spent 16 years with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation holding positions as General Manager of Investor Relations, Business Advisor, and General Manager. Clay is a Registered Professional Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and Master’s degree in Petroleum and Geosciences Engineering.

ANGELO BRISIMITZAKIS

DIRECTOR

Through 2012, Mr. Brisimitzakis served as the CEO at Compass Minerals (NYSE: CMP), a leading minerals producer (~$1.1Bn Sales) of salt, potash, and specialty fertilizers with 2000 employees across 13 manufacturing sites in North America & UK. He helped see earnings double via accelerated/profitable organic growth, tripling market capitalization to $ 2.5 Billion (105 Million in Net Earnings). He organized a strategic/multi phased investment in expansion of advantaged Salt and Potash mining assets. Mr. Brisimitzakis has a professional background with over 35 years of results-oriented success. He serves on the board within multiple ‘materials’ industries including chemicals, plastics, minerals, mining, potash, energy, and agriculture.

Jeff Kummer

STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Jeff joined MPSC in 2020, making a pivot from a successful career in the oil and gas industry. Over the past 15 years, Jeff has led the growth of companies in the E&P, midstream, and oilfield services sectors.  Over the past 10 years those businesses have been successfully divested for more than $1 Billion, collectively. Most recently, he founded and led the growth of a mineral management technology application, MineralTracker, which was divested to a large regional financial institution. Early in his career, Jeff worked for EOG Resources, in his home state of North Dakota.

As a leader in business, as well as his community, Jeff has served as Chairman of the University of North Dakota Petroleum Engineering Advisory Committee and as Vice Chairman of the North Dakota Oil and Gas Research Council, as appointed by Governor Dalrymple. Jeff was honored as a recipient of Oil and Gas Investor’s 20 under 40 award in 2013, at the age of 29. He and his wife are active Legatus members.

Jeff holds a B.S. Petroleum Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines (Cum Laude).
