(Feb 18, 2018)  Michigan Potash Company presents at the 2018 Governor’s Summit on Extractive Industries On February 13, 2018, Michigan Potash Company (MPC) presented at the Governor’s Summit on Extractive Industries. The summit holds an active discussion to increase awareness of the state’s extractive industries as valuable building blocks to Michigan’s future. Talking points include the state’s workforce, education opportunities, investment and growth, and collaborative partnerships between industries, communities and government. Theodore Pagano, P.E., G., CEO of Michigan Potash Company LLC, presented at the summit to bring awareness to the their projects and the importance of potash. “Potash is necessary for food production. It is necessary for all forms of life, it sustains the grower, and it is the tightest controlled commodity in the world. Without potash there is no grower, and without our grower, the entire economy that surrounds him, waivers, stagnates, falters, and fails.”
